Came home to the cutest kittens that my mom found in our yard! If only y’all knew how bad I want the little grey one! I’ve already named him Lil Sebastian. Lemme keep him!
The next couple of month holds a lot of adventure and with each day comes more and more excitement. I begin taking classes in Asheville to become a certified Barista the beginning of October. Randall and I will be going on a fun fall-filled train ride for a day before he goes on tour for a week. Then we’ll be celebrating our four month anniversary right after he gets back home. It’s not really a monumental anniversary, I know, like a six month or a one year but it’s another mile marker of the exciting journey we’re on together and I couldn’t be happier. And who knows, I might even finally get the tattoo I’ve been wanting for over a year before the year is over!
It’s been a long day. Bored & sleepy at work. I’ve baked enough to feed an army. Cupcakes. Bread. Cookies. All I want is more caffeine or a good nap.
I’ve worked over 100 hours in the past two weeks. To say I am exhausted would be an understatement. However, I feel more than accomplished and my next couple of paychecks are going to be rewarding. 10% of those 100 hours was spent knocking out crossword puzzles and 20% was spent thinking about and making goals. Some are up in the air and others are more attainable, like, I am thinking about going back to school in the spring just to take a couple night classes like French or World History. Who knows. But amidst all of the crosswords, goal-making, and mind-losing exhaustion, I’ve grown and remained extremely content and happy with the way life is going. Huzzah!
Straight hair and two month anniversaries. It’s the little things in life.
I don’t remember my hair ever being that long and manageable.
I’m just the most content today.
Off for the next two days. Boyfriend gets back home in less than twenty-four hours. I just wanna bake and lounge-schmounge while catching up on television shows I started but eventually forgot about.
Not a fan of people today. But I am a fan of the fact that Randall returns in two days! Go ahead y’all, ask me how stoked I am. You won’t.
Pulled out the American swag today.
I miss Randall, wah wah wah. White girl problems galore. However, tomorrow is America’s day and I will be making the heck out of some Red, White, and Brew mocha’s at the shop. Pretty stoked that I got the opening shift. Not too fond of waking up at 6:30 in the morning, but hey! I’ll get prime parking downtown. I feel bad for whoever got the 7:00pm shift.
Also, three cheers for haircuts! So nice to be dunzo with those nasty split ends!
